Pete Alonso's power was on full display on July 5, 2025, when the Mets first baseman launched two home runs during the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium, a milestone night that also saw him pass Mike Piazza on the Mets' all-time RBI list. This Chandler Pro Model "YC3xres" Axe Maple bat, model L5L3.0209.0314.25 in a 34-inch, 32-ounce specification, is the very lumber Alonso wielded to produce career home runs No. 245 and No. 246.

The bat displays the honest, heavy use expected of an everyday slugger's gamer, with a dark, tacky pine tar buildup coating the handle that fades into the natural, lightly ball-marked maple barrel, and Chandler's signature axe-style knob still bearing its factory finish. The barrel carries the printed Chandler oval, Alonso's facsimile signature, and the bat's individual model specifications, while an official Major League Baseball authentication hologram affixed near the knob confirms its use in an authentic MLB contest.

Chandler bats have become increasingly popular among today's elite sluggers for their axe-handle ergonomics, and Alonso's use of the model on a night that intertwined a two-homer outburst with a franchise RBI milestone makes this a bat of real historical weight within the Mets' record book, offered here with full MLB authentication. The MLB Authentication page shows that this bat is tied to the actual home run through Statcast information. This bat was authenticated and kept in play for use in future ballgames, something that is a scarce find with game used bats.
