Coming in its original presentation display box, this stunning 14-karat gold ring commemorates the 1998 New York Yankees, a team many consider the greatest in baseball history after finishing 125-50 (including the postseason) and sweeping the San Diego Padres in the World Series. Weighing 36 grams, this size 12 ring was issued to a member of the Yankees' prestigious ownership group and comes in the same design and format as players received.
The iconic interlocking "NY" made up of real diamonds adorns the face of the ring, set against a navy blue stone and encircled by more diamonds and the words "1998 WORLD CHAMPIONS." One shank has the team's combined regular season and postseason record of 125-50, as well as the Yankees' secondary logo and "BEST EVER." The opposite shank has the last name "NEDERLANDER" and "TRADITION" flanking the Commissioner's Trophy set against a backdrop of Old Yankee Stadium. Inside the band is the "14K" hallmark by ring maker, Balfour. The ring has been exceptionally well-preserved with very light wear.
