This is a striking 2010 Ivan Rodriguez Washington Nationals game-worn Senators throwback jersey and cap ensemble from arguably the top catcher of his era as he played in his 20th season. Rodriguez finished a 21-year career with an incredible 2844 hits 311 homers and a .296 lifetime average. Toss in 13 Gold Gloves 14 All-Star nods and a 1999 American League MVP Award and what you have is likely first-ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 2017. The grey throwback jersey has the cursive Senators lettering across the front in red and black tackle twill on the front and on Rodriguezs No. 7 on the back. Majestic Authentic tagging appears on the tail with 48 flag tag attached. Pudge has penned his autograph in black Sharpie on his No. 7 on the back adding his number inscription. Shirt shows visible game use with some light staining and virtually no fraying of the delicate red stitching front or back; shirt is problem-free and without visible alteration of any description. Comes with a Major League Baseball Authentication Letter and hologram which is affixed to the Majestic tagging (LH 242921). His Size 7 1/2 cap is in similarly impressive condition with the size New Era and Cooperstown Collection tagging on the interior and an embroidered 7 on the interior at the front. The Washington script W is at the front of the cap; Rodriguez has planted another impressive autograph and number inscription on the brim of the cap. Like the jersey the cap is in superb condition and comes with the Major League Baseball Authentication Letter and hologram which is affixed below the brim (LH242886).
