A gorgeous game used example from one of the greatest catchers ever to squat behind the plate. As if his tremendous hitting wasn't enough (.296 career Avg. 311 HR's 2844 hits) Ivan Pudge Rodriguez has won 13 gold gloves. On June 17 2009 Rodriguez set a MLB record by catching his 2227th game passing Carlton Fisk . Through 2011 he had the best career caught stealing percentage of any active major league catcher at 45.68% The Louisville Slugger model P 72 is uncracked and shows excellent use with ball marks and pine tar. Rodriguez also has taped the handle with a criss cross pattern to strengthen his grip. Finally he has signed in Mint Silver sharpie and added his uniform number 7 and nickname Pudge below his signature.
