Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan had an incredible 27-year MLB career, racking up 5,714 strikeouts, six seasons with over 300 strikeouts, and, of course, seven no-hitters (all MLB records).  His eight All-Star appearances were tacked on throughout his career with the NY Mets, CA Angels, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers.

This lot offers a June 11, 1990, Oakland Athletics full ticket from Ryan's sixth career no-hitter, graded PSA NM-MT 8. The 43-year-old Ryan struck out 14 batters, walked two, and threw 130 pitches. This game was significant as it made him the oldest pitcher to throw a no-hitter and extended his record for the most no-hitters in major league history. The Rangers beat the Athletics 5-0. Only one example has received a higher grade, as noted in PSA's Population Report.

Ryan was inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 25th, 1999.
