Current Charlotte Hornet guard Aaron Harrison played his college basketball at the University of Kentucky (along with his twin brother Andrew) where he will always be remembered as a clutch performer. Aaron made two game-winning three-pointers during the 2014 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The first one was in the Midwest Regional Final (Elite 8) against Michigan as Kentucky prevailed 75-72 to advance to the Final Four. Then in the National Semifinals he hit another clutch three to give UK a stunning 74-73 win over Wisconsin and advance to the National Championship.
Featured here is Harrison's 2013-14 game-worn University of Kentucky Wildcats NCAA Tournament and Final Four blue road jersey from that historic campaign. In fact all signs point to this being the actual jersey Harrison wore in those monumental battles before the Wildcats dropped a 60-54 decision to Connecticut in the title game. The consignor is a Lexington Kentucky native with very close ties to the team.
The size 48 Nike polyester blue jersey is sporting the proper "NIKE ELITE" manufacturer's tagging on the front left tail with both "2013-14" and "LENGTH +6" strip tags sewn in. The jersey front features "Kentucky" and his uniform number "2" in white tackle twill. The Nike "swoosh" as well as the "UK" and "SEC" logos also adorn the front as does the official "2014 North Texas FINAL FOUR" logo patch. His last name "HARRISON" as well as his uniform number "2" graces the back of the jersey in white tackle twill with the number outlined in gray. The back of the jersey includes a large portion that is a wider mesh design that features a subtle Kentucky Wildcat mascot representation. The jersey exhibits good wear and came right off the back of one of the team's top performers that season.
