St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina turned in a fabulous performance during the 2012 season and helped his team reach the National League Championship Series before bowing to the eventual World Series Champions San Francisco Giants in seven games. In the NLCS Molina batted .393 with 11 hits in 28 at-bats. This lot features his well-worn pine-tar-covered Cardinals batting helmet that has actually been photo-matched to the previous NLDS playoff battle vs. the Washington Nationals. The size 7 3/8" Rawlings batting helmet sports the Postseason sticker on the back and the red STL logo outlined in white on the front. Molina has signed the top of the bill of the helmet in silver.
