This lot features a 2011 game used two-toned Louisville Slugger Professional Signature Model C271L Ivan Rodriguez bat by the Texas Rangers/Washington Nationals catcher who was just elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. A prolific hitter “Pudge” Rodriguez collected a total of 2844 career hits including 311 home runs to go along with his lifetime batting average of .296. This brown and black bat was used by Rodriguez during his final season in the big in which he collected his final 27 hits. The 34-inch bat has "GENUINE C271L Ivan Rodriguez WASHINGTON NATIONALS" engraved in the barrel. The bat which has been photo-matched displays good game use with numerous ball contact marks some pine tar around the middle and some Mota stick buildup on the handle. The knob of the bat reflects Rodriguez’s iconic uniform number “7” as well as the issue date (“2/25/2017”) length (“34.0”) and weight (“33”) in ounces.
Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with perfect GU 10 grade.
