Addendum: This ring was presented to longtime Giants scout and coach, Joe Lefebvre.

This gorgeous 14-karat gold coach's ring commemorates the San Francisco Giants winning the 2010 World Series, marking their first championship since relocating to the west coast in 1958 and beginning an unprecedented run of three World Series titles in five seasons. After compiling a 92-70 regular-season record to win the NL West, the Orange and Black won the first game of the NLDS behind Tim Lincecum's postseason franchise record 14 strikeouts in his historic 1-0 complete-game shutout over the Braves. After knocking off Atlanta, San Francisco took on the favored Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS and prevailed in six hard-fought games to advance to the Fall Classic. Against the AL champion Texas Rangers, Bruce Bochy's boys prevailed in five games for their first World Series since 1954 when Willie Mays patrolled centerfield at the Polo Grounds.

Made by Tiffany & Co. of 14-karat white and yellow gold, this ring was presented to Joseph Lefebvre, the Giants' former first base coach who served as Special Assistant and Advanced Scout in 2010. Unrelated to Jim Lefebvre, Joe was a utility outfielder in the majors from 1980-86 for the Yankees, Padres and Phillies, before going into scouting and coaching. His ring comes complete with its original presentation box, preserving the full commemorative package as it was originally distributed.

The face spells out "SF" in 34 round melee diamonds flanked by two round diamonds and encircled by a bezel of yellow gold with the words "WORLD CHAMPIONS" in raised lettering. All four perimeter sides contain a row of nine round-cut diamonds. One shank has the year "2010" flanking a yellow gold motif of the Golden Gate Bridge. The other shank has "LEFEBVRE" across a ribbon over a raised image of the World Series trophy. Within the top of the trophy is an orange Spessartine garnet representing the franchise's first title in San Francisco; at the base of the trophy are five diamonds representing the Giants' five New York titles. Engraved within the interior band are the club's three 2010 postseason series results: "SFG 3 - ATL 1, SFG 4 - PHI 2, SFG 4 - TEX 1.” Also stamped inside the band is “TIFFANY & CO. 585” identifying its 14-karat gold content (58.5% pure gold; 41.5% alloy). Boasting a grand total of 77 diamonds, the ring comes in size 12 and weighs 77 grams. It shows mild wear and comes housed inside its black wooden presentation box (EX-NM) with a gold-embossed "2010 WORLD CHAMPIONS" and SF Giants logo backed by the Golden Gate Bridge along with "November 1,2010" (date of Game 5 clincher).

As the MLB franchise with the most regular season wins ever (11,664 and counting), Giants World Series rings from the Bochy dynasty of the early 2010's are highly sought after among collectors, and this is the title that broke the 56-year drought. Built around a dominant starting rotation of Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain and "MadBum" (Madison Bumgarner), NL Rookie of the Year (and future Hall of Famer) Buster Posey, and colorful characters "The Beard" (Brian Wilson) and "Kung Fu Panda" (Pablo Sandoval), this close-knit group captured the hearts of Giants fans everywhere and set the tone for a winning culture that would bring World Series trophies to the City by the Bay in three consecutive even years (2010, 2012 and 2014).

Includes a certificate of authenticity to Joe Lefebvre from Tiffany & Co., which designed all three World Series championship rings for the Giants during the Bochy/Buster dynasty.
