This beautiful 14-karat gold coach's ring commemorates the San Francisco Giants winning the 2012 World Series, their second of three titles in a five-year span. Just two years removed from their first World Series title in 56 years, San Francisco finished the regular-season with a 94-68 record to win the NL West Division before embarking on a dramatic postseason run. In the NLDS against the Cincinnati Reds, the G-Men became the first NL team ever to come back from 2-0 in a best-of-five series by winning the final three games on the road. The Giants then fell behind the St. Louis Cardinals three games to one in the NLCS before again winning three straight elimination games (six in row if you include the NLDS) to take the NL pennant. In the World Series, Bruce Bochy's boys made life less stressful for the Giants faithful with a clean four-game sweep over the Detroit Tigers, highlighted by Pablo Sandoval's three-homer performance (two off Justin Verlander) in Game 1.

Made by Tiffany & Co. of 14-karat white and yellow gold, this ring was presented to Joseph Lefebvre, the Giants' former first base coach who served as assistant hitting coach in 2012. Unrelated to Jim Lefebvre, Joe was a utility outfielder in the majors from 1980-86 for the Yankees, Padres and Phillies, before going into scouting and coaching. His ring comes complete with its original presentation box, preserving the full commemorative package as it was originally distributed.

The face of the ring features the "SF" logo in 52 round melee diamonds. Above and below is a bezel reading "WORLD CHAMPIONS." Seven round diamonds on each side represent the organization's seven world championships. One shank has the name "LEFEBVRE" with the year "2012" flanking a city cable car – an iconic symbols of San Francisco – and Lefebvre's jersey number "72" that he wore as a coach. The other shank has the results of their three 2012 postseason series wins with "SFG 4 - DET 0, SFG 4 - STL 2, SFG 3 - CIN 2." Stamped inside the band is "TIFFANY & CO. AU 585" identifying its 14-karat gold content (58.5% pure gold; 41.5% alloy). The size 12.5 ring weighing 81 grams displays moderate wear and comes housed inside its black wooden presentation box (NM-MT) with a gold-embossed "2012 WORLD CHAMPIONS" and SF Giants logo backed by the Golden Gate Bridge along with "October 28, 2012" (date of Game 4 clincher).
