Clayton Kershaw’s first full season in the majors saw him win 8 games with a tidy 2.79 ERA for Los Angeles. Though he would become a Dodgers legend for his pitching, Kershaw did manage five hits in 48 at-bats his rookie season – and this 2009 Kershaw gamer looks like it was used for all of those hits. The Louisville Slugger M253 model bat displays awesome game use. The barrel is covered in ball marks with blue ink transfers from contact with the ball, bat rack paint streaks, and white leather scuffs. The handle has been wrapped with adhesive tape to enhance the grip, and the knob end has a custom sticker with Kershaw’s number “22.” The future Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in bold blue marker, adding his number, “22.” The bat comes with a COA from PSA/DNA, who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
