In 2009 the Alabama Crimson Tide football team finished the season undefeated with a 14-0 overall record. Their path toward greatness culminated with a convincing 37-21 win over the Texas Longhorns in the BCS Championship Game. It was head coach Nick Saban's first title in Tuscaloosa and started his incredible run of five in nine seasons.
This lot features a 2009 Alabama Crimson Tide Football National Championship ring. The size 13½ ring (44g) showcases a large red gemstone in the center adorned by a large “A” for Alabama that’s boasting a series of lighter gemstones throughout. The outer rim of the ring’s surface reads “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” in raised lettering. One shank reads “INVIN” with “13 National Championships” spelled out on top of a football and “ROLL TIDE” at the bottom. The other shank reads “14-0 2009 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” followed by a football adorned with the Alabama “A” and “BAMA 37 TEXAS 21” at the bottom. The inside band is engraved “YLTM" (yellow lustrium). Made by Jostens it comes in its original small black Jostens box.
