Three-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love wore this jersey and shorts during the 2009-10 season for the Timberwolves his second year in the league when he averaged 14 ppg and 11 rebounds as he established himself as one of the upcoming stars in the league. He holds the longest streak for consecutive games recording double figures in points and rebounds since the ABANBA merger and has quickly emerged as the face of the Minnesota franchise. The Size 50 shirt shows light game use and sports the appropriate Adidas tagging at the front-left tail with four attached flag tags denoting fabric content 2009-10 Size 50 and "4 inches L.B." There is virtually fraying of any of the intricate stitching on the striking "Wolves" lettering on the front in silver sparkle blue and black tackle twill and only the tiniest whisper of it on the black tackle twill letters on the back. The shirt is in superb condition throughout including the intricate designs on the collar and shoulders. The Wolves logo patch appears on the back of the collar; the iconic NBA logo patch on the front left shoulder area. The Size 48 shorts are in matching condition displaying the Adidas tag on the waistband with marker notations by hand of player No. 42 09-10 and Set 1. Attached flag tags (3) denote fabric content Size 48 and 2 inches L.I. The shorts have the delicate "Minnesota" embroidery at the back of the waist and the NBA logo patch at the front. This is simply a spectacular piece from one of the true greats of the modern era.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Timberwolves and a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum Collection.
