The Lakers' four-time All-Star and a three-time All-NBA selection Pau Gasol wore this stunning shirt in the 2008-09 season his first with the team and also - perhaps not coincidentally - the first of two consecutive NBA titles for the team. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2002 with the Memphis Grizzlies. In a career approaching 14 years and equally divided between his first seven years with Memphis and his current tenure with the Lakers he has become one of the true stars in the league and a favorite in Los Angeles to match the affection from his time with the Grizzlies where he holds franchise records for field goals made and attempted free throws made and attempted offensive defensive and total rebounds blocked shots turnovers and points.After seven seasons with the team Gasol was traded to the Lakers in 2008. At the end of last season he had career numbers of 18.4 ppg and 9.7 rebounds. On the front tail is the "Adidas" manufacturer's tag. Attached are four additional manufacturer's tags with the jersey size "52""LENGTH +4" "2008-2009" and CLIMALITE. Across the front is "LAKERS" in purple on white tackle twill the same tackle twill configuration for his name on the back which is sewn directly to the shirt without nameplate. Below that and on the back is the player number "16" in white on purple tackle twill also the same configuration as his number on the front. On the left breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. Jersey reveals game use most notably on the front tail. Gasol has signed in black marker on his "6" of his number on the front adding the "16" inscription.
