Troy Polamalu the recently retired Pittsburgh Steelers safety made his presence felt out on the field of play every Sunday by virtue of his tough tackling techniques. This lot features his 2007 signed andinscribed Steelers game worn home jersey from a season in which the team went 10-6 to capture first place in the AFC’s North Division. The jersey shows incredible use with scuff marks grass marks and noticeable fraying showing on the numbers and letters.

On the inside below the rear collar is a strip tag with “07-46” printed on it to indicate the season and size. On the V-neck front is the official “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. On the left chest is a“Steelers” team logo patch and on the right chest is a “75TH SEASON 1933 2007” embroidered patch celebrating the team’s anniversary. The player number “43” appears on the front on the back and on both shoulders. These are done in white tackle twill.Across the back reads his last name “POLAMALU” in yellow tackle twill sewn directly onto a separate black nameplate. Below the player number on each shoulder is an embroidered Reebok logo in white. Polamalu signed the “4” on the front of the jersey in fine-point black marker and added the inscription “GAME WORN.” What an incredible gamer from one of the NFL's hardest hitting safeties in history who will certainly be enshrined in Canton Ohio someday soon.
