Here we have a 2005 Keyshawn Johnson game-worn jersey from the wide receiver's second season in Dallas and second-to-last of his 11-year career. The brash sure-handed 3-time Pro Bowler notched 71 receptions for 839 yards and 6 TD's in 2005 while catching balls from quarterback Drew Bledsoe. The white mesh/dazzle Reebok jersey features his number 19 sewn to the front back and both sleeves in blue tackle twill. The back nameplate has "K. JOHNSON also sewn in blue on a white nameplate. The sleeves have the Cowboys blue and black stripes pressed into the fabric. The waist of the jersey was trimmed elasticized and factory hemmed (a trademark of Johnson). There is a strip tag in the collar labeled "05-46" with a PROVA GROUP tag coded "XA8CC7B19F" for authentication purposes. Prova Group founded by Emmitt Smith used to run a database that dated and documented the game-worn items. Unfortunately the online database is no longer active to verify the exact game this Keyshawn jersey was worn. Shirt shows outstanding game use with several tackle marks and rips in the fabric letters and numbers. Keyshawn has signed the back '9' in 8/10 black marker.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
