Featured here are Drew Bledsoe's game-worn jersey and pants from his 2005 season with the Dallas Cowboys. That year his first in Dallas Bledsoe started all 16 games and threw for 3639 yards with 23 TDs as the team went a respectable 9-7. The blue Reebok jersey has a "05-50" strip tag inside the collar (indicating year and size) as well as the Reebok manufacturer's tag at the shirttail with a "50" flag tag. White lettering reading "BLEDSOE" is sewn on the back nameplate. His No. 11 appears on the front back and shoulders in white tackle twill with a blue outline. The back letters and numbers have substantial dirt and grass staining. The Dallas star logo and Reebok patches adorn both sleeves which are equipped with an elastic hem. The NFL shield patch and "COWBOYS" appear below the front neck. The jersey shows awesome wear throughout and carries a strong odor of game sweat from the big 6'5" 240-pound quarterback. The silver Reebok pants with blue and white lining also exhibit excellent game use and have the same authentic stench. They sport the NFL shield patch on the outside and Reebok manufacturer's tagging inside the fly with "38" and "Short" flag tags for size. A "02" strip tag inside the waistband could stand for the year. It was not uncommon for teams to recycle old uniform pieces back then especially for new players. Written inside the waistband in black Sharpie is "11" for Bledsoes jersey number. Belt and buckle come as-issued. Both uniform pieces are labeled by the Prova Group (founded by Emmitt Smith) which used to have a database that documented and dated the game in which items were worn. Unfortunately the online database is no longer active. The jersey is coded XACFAF4E36 and the pants are coded XAEFAE747B. Nice game-worn uniform from a star quarterback in his day.
