Flashy pair of Chauncey Billups game-worn AND1 signature model sneakers from his outstanding 2003-04 NBA Championship season with the Detroit Pistons. The steady 6’3” point guard earned the nickname “Mr. Big Shot” for his many clutch performances in the playoffs and was named 2004 NBA Finals MVP in Detroit’s 4-1 series victory over Kobe Shaq and the Lakers. The 5-time All-Star averaged 15.2 points and 5.4 assists in his 17 seasons with seven teams. He will always be known as a Piston.
These AND1 ‘Rise’ mid-tops come in mostly white with a hard red outer material touched in for a nice Pistons-theme colorway. They are properly tagged size 13 inside with player sample coding. “His other nickname “SMOOTH” and his No. “1”are embroidered on opposite sides in blue. Billups has signed each one on the front with his No. “1” inscribed in black marker. The insoles have been removed likely for custom orthotic that Billups preferred to use. They show excellent game wear and come directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (son of longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father.
