Ben Wallace elbowed muscled and rebounded his way to NBA stardom highlighted by his four NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards and 2004 NBA title with the Detroit Pistons. The grateful Pistons retired his No. 3 in 2016. Wallace wore this home white gamer in 2002-03 the year of his second DPOY nod. "PISTONS" is on the front in red-on-blue tackle twill the same configuration for his No. 3 front and back. His name is sewn are sewn on directly on the back in blue tackle twill. The micro mesh white body is highlighted with blue white and red dazzle cloth trim on the sides. The appropriate Nike size 50 tagging appears on the front left tail with the Pistons team logo NBA Authentics tag and Length +4" flag tag. Fabric and Nike year (2002-03) tags are located inside the left inseam. The iconic NBA embroidered logo patch appears at left upper chest. The shirt shows light to moderate game use with slight fraying and stretching.
Provenance: Jersey comes directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (son of longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father.
