This autographed game-worn home jersey was used by Scott Rolen during his 2002 season with the St. Louis Cardinals. Rolen, inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023, was one of the finest defensive third basemen in history. 2002 was the year Rolen was traded from the Philadelphia Phillies to the Cardinals, and also the first of his seven All Star campaigns. The third baseman had 31 homers, 110 RBI and also earned a Gold Glove for his defensive efforts.
The Rawlings white home jersey features the Cardinals logo across the front, along with Rolen's number 27 in red and black trim. The back features his name "ROLEN" above his number 27 in the same red and black trim. He signed the back in sharp black permanent marker in between the 2 and the 7. This jersey carries dual Letters of Authenticity from both Barry Larkin and JSA.
