2002 was an injury-shortened season for two-time AL MVP Juan Gonzalez, as he returned to the Texas Rangers following a seasons with Detroit and Cleveland. Juan Gone batted .282 with 8 home runs and 35 RBI in just 70 games that year. 

 

Offered is a Rawlings '225B' used by Gonzalez during that 2002 season. The 34.5 inch, 31.9 oz. bat is un-cracked with evidence of excellent use. His number 19 is written on the knob in silver. Gonzalez signed the front barrel in bold silver permanent marker and inscribed "1993 HR Derby Champ" and "3x AL All Star." PSA/DNA's bat expert John Taube determined the game use earned the bat a perfect GU 10 grade. The autograph is authenticated by PSA/DNA as well.
