Future Hall of Fame shooting guard Ray Allen began his 19-year NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks where he lit up the scoring chart from 1996-2003. This lot features Allen’s 2002-03 game worn Milwaukee Bucks home jersey from his final season in Milwaukee. In fact in the middle of that 7th season Allen was dealt to the Seattle SuperSonics but not before averaging 21.3 and 4.6 boards per game for the Bucks. Allen officially retired in November 2016 as 10-time All-Star 2-time World Champion and one of the greatest shooters ever.
The white nylon mesh jersey (size 46) with purple-and-green trim shows moderate wear and presents beautifully with proper tagging on the left front tail including the Reebok manufacturer’s tag (with three strip tags reading “LENGTH +2” and “02-03” and “46”). Across the front of the jersey reads “BUCKS” in dark green tackle twill outlined in silver and purple while just below it is Allen’s uniform No. 34 also in green tackle twill outlined in silver and purple. On the reverse in similar fashion is Allen’s uniform number (8” tall) with his last name – “ALLEN” – in green tackle twill lettering outlined in silver sewn directly on to the white jersey. The Buck’s trademark purple-and-green elastic trim adorns the collar and sleeve openings.
