Hall of Famer Reggie Miller played his entire 18-year career with the Indiana Pacers and is regarded by many as the best shooter of all-time. His three-point marksmanship especially in pressure situations was unparalleled in his heyday. It was the New York Knicks and Spike Lee who seemed to bring out Reggie's best and inspire “Miller Time.” A five-time All-Star selection and member of the elite 50-40-90 club Miller retired in 2005 holding the NBA record for most career 3-point field goals and currently sits second behind Ray Allen. Featured here is a pair of his game-worn signature model Nike shoes from the 2001-02 season.
The white yellow and navy blue Pacers-themed sneakers have “Reggie 31” on the outer collars with the Jordan brand logo emblazoned on the tongues rear foot heel tab and outsoles. They come in size 14 and are tagged appropriately by Nike on the interior with “Y3” player sample coding and a “11-26-01” manufacturing date. A unique heel bar wraps around the upper heel. The original white and black laces are present but the insoles are missing. Miller has signed and personalized each shoe “To Coby Reggie #31” in 8/10 black marker. The shoes display solid game use throughout.
These Miller gamers come directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl son of longtime NBA coach George Karl who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father. Hard to beat that provenance!
