Offered here is game used bat from Todd Helton's 2001 MLB campaign with the Colorado Rockies. Helton finished the 2001 season with 49 home runs, 146 RBI and an impressive .336 BA to earn him the starting first base spot on the NL All-Star team.
The Louisville Slugger 'B364' model shows definitive signs of game use with several ball marks and ball stitch impressions throughout the barrel. Cleat marks can also be noticed on the left of the barrel as well as a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. '17' has been written in on the bat knob and the top of the barrel in black permanent marker denoting Helton's number. Helton has signed the barrel in black marker. The weight (30.9 oz) and length (34 in) have been verified by the manufacturer's ordering records for Helton.
Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (GU 9) and a signed COA from Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa whose Animal Rescue Foundation auctioned off this bat in 2003.
