In 2000 the New York Yankees finished first in the A.L. East with a record of 8774 2.5 games ahead of the Boston Red Sox after losing 15 of their final 18 games. Despite having the lowest winning percentage of any postseason qualifier in 2000 the Yankees won the World Series over the New York Mets in five games to win their 26th World Series title. This lot features an official Rawlings 2000 World Series Baseball (Selig) that boasts 32 signatures in blue ink from the team including Manager Joe Torre across the sweet spot. Other notable autographs include Derek Jeter Mariano Rivera Roger Clemens Bernie Williams Orlando Hernandez and Ramiro Mendoza.
