Four-time NBA All-Star Vin Baker wore this Seattle SuperSonics road gamer during the 1997-98 campaign a year in which he averaged 19.2 ppg to earn his final All-Star nod. On the left front tail is the Champion manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and jersey size "52". Adjacent to the left is a second "Champion" tag that includes "1997-98" the Sonics logo Body Length + 6 and "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for SEATTLE SUPERSONICS." Inside the left inseam are two tags noting 100% Polyester and 6 Inch Extra Length. On the right chest is the official "NBA" logo embroidered in red white and blue. Across the front reads "SONICS" in white on yellow tackle twill with a gold and green embroidered basketball above the "I". Adjacent below and on back is the Baker's No. 42 and across the back is "BAKER." Both are done in white and yellow on rust tackle twill. Baker has added a blazing black Sharpie autograph to his No. 4 on the back of the shirt adding his No. "42" inscription below the signature. Shirt has rust and gold knit elastic on the collar and yokes. It shows light-to-moderate game use and presents in superlative all-original condition.
Provenance: It comes directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (sonof longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10.He received all items from his collection either straight from theplayer or through his father who coached Baker in Seattle this one season.
