This is a handsome game-worn and autographed home jersey from one of the greats of the NBAs modern era Grant Hill an artifact further enhanced by being given to legendary Pistons coach Chucky Daly. After being part of two NCAA Championships at Duke Hill arrived to a woeful Detroit Pistons franchise for the 1994-95 season. That changed pretty quickly after his first six seasons with the Pistons in which he averaged 21.6 points 7.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists. He is a strong HOF candidate with more than 17000 career points even though much of the latter half of his career was curtailed by injuries. The front of this Nike Team Sports mesh white-with-teal-red-and-yellow-trim jersey has the tackle-twill Pistons stitched across the black-gray appliqu horse insignia. Below is Hills No. 33 in teal with yellow-black trim. On the reverse Hill is stitched in tackle-twill teal across the shoulders. The left hip area sports the woven tags of NBA Authentic Nike Team Sports (with name/#/size) separate LENGTH +4/Made in USA tag and a black tag with Pistons logo on it. Inside the left side seam are two tags one with the Nike Swoosh and year 199798 the other with laundering instructions. The woven NBA logo is stitched to the left shoulder strap. Evidence of light game use can be found with sweat discolorations on the shoulder straps. Hill boldly signed his name and number to the top of the left 3 on the jerseys back in black Sharpie adding an inscription of the days date below 2/11/99 and the notation To Chuck Congrats! Youre the Best on the right 3 of his number. A PSA/DNA authentication hologram is affixed on that same numeral. All elements of the jersey appear to be largely as-issued problem-free and without visible alteration of any description.

Includes copy of LOA from Terry Daly Chuck's widow. Also comes with Letter of Provenance from Rich Behar owner of SportsCard Central who acquired many items directly from the Daly estate in 2010.
