ADDENDUM: JERSEY IS FROM 1994-95 NOT 1995-96 AS STATED IN CATALOG.
1994-95 New Jersey Devils home jersey game worn by bruising Hall of Fame defenseman Scott Stevens. Stevens played 22 seasons in the NHL (1982-2004) for the Capitals Blues and Devils. As captain of the Devils from 1991 to 2000 he led his team to 4 Stanley Cup Final appearances winning 3 of them (1995 2000 2003). Steven was known more for hard hitting defensive play even though he had excellent offensive skills. In 2007 Steven was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Large Devils logo patch sewn on front along with "C" Captain's patch. Smaller "4"'s on each sleeve. Large "4" and "STEVENS" name plate sewn on back. CCM with small "4" written on it and size 54 tags sewn in collar. CCM and NHL logo tags sewn on outside back tail. "OFFICIAL NEW JERSEY DEVILS 1SR SET 1994-95 SEASON" and "LETTERING BY CUSTOM CRAFTED" sewn inside back tail. Jersey displays solid wear with a few slight small tears from game use. No team repairs are evident.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
