Larry Johnson aka "Grandmama" helped the UNLV Runnin' Rebels win an NCAA title in 1990 before becoming the first overall pick in the 1991 NBA draft and promptly earning Rookie of the Year honors for the 1991-92 season. He made two All-Star teams (both with the Hornets) in his 10-year career that included five seasons with the NY Knicks. An explosive power forward who could score inside and out Johnson never quite reached the high expectations placed upon him due to recurring back problems. This Charlotte Hornets white home jersey features numbers team and player names in teal with blue outline. The trims on the collar and sleeves feature blue white purple and teal pipping while the front and rear of the jersey also feature vertical blue and green stripes. The Champion logo with "Designed and Tailored Exclusively for Charlotte Hornets" "Body Length +3" and Size 50 tags are sewn to front left tail. Johnson has signed and inscribed his #2 on the front number in 8-9/10 black marker. The jersey shows good wear with sweat stains on the inside at the back.
Comes with LOA from MEARS with a grade of A5.
