Fearless. Relentless. These two words fittingly describe one of the NBA's true hustlers. John Starks spent the bulk of his career (1990-98) with the NY Knicks helping them reach the Finals in 1994 where they fell to the Rockets. The 1993-94 season was his best statistically as he averaged 19 points and 5.9 assists per game. If there is one moment for which Starks is remembered and revered it's "The Dunk" from Game 2 of the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals when the 6'3" shooting guard posterized both Michael Jordan and Horace Grant with a left hand flush along the baseline.
On the front left tail is the "Champion" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and jersey size "42" on it. Adjacent is another Champion "1993-1994 exclusive" tag with "BODY LENGTH +2" on it. Across the front is "NEW YORK" in orange on blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "3" in the same tackle twill. Across the back is "STARKS" in blue tackle twill. On the upper left breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. The jersey is autographed on the front number in blue marker and rates 8-9/10. It shows appropriate wear and has no alterations of any kind.
Comes with a Grey Flannel/JSA auction LOA.
