From the great Scottie Pippen co-architect with Michael Jordan et. al in a pair of "ThreePeats" that left the Chicago Bulls atop the sporting world in the 1980's comes this wonderful pair of game-worn Nike Air shoes from the April 29 1994 First Round Playoff Game one against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pippen averaged more than 25 points per game in the brisk three-game ousting of Cleveland.
The spectacular black leather Nike Size 15 1/2 shoes have the padded red-felt interiors with the white leather accent piece encircling the shoes. The Nike Air and Swoosh logo are embroidered in black stitching on the heels and on the tongues in white stitching. The size labels appear on the inside of each tongue. Pippen has signed each shoe in black Sharpie along the encircling white leather design element on the outside whimsically adding a "4-Peat" inscription that didn't quite materialize with the famed club having to settle for neatly bookended "Threepeats" sandwiching the years 1993-94 and 1994-95 seasons. The shoes shows some game use but remain remarkably pristine and with all elements intact and largely as-issued. This is a wonderful piece in simply superb condition from a beloved Hall of Famer smack dab in the middle of a historic period.
