Great game-worn jersey and sneakers combo from the popular Detlef Schrempf. The 6’9” forward from Germany played 16 seasons in the NBA with four teams and finished with career averages of 14 points and 6 rebounds. The two-time 6th Man of the Year with the Indiana Pacers settled in as a full-time starter in Seattle and had one of his best seasons in 1994-95 when he averaged 19.2 points and 6.2 rebounds and shot over 51.4% from 3-point range. He earned three All-Star appearances in his career. Offered here is his Seattle SuperSonics ’94-95 home jersey and his Adidas shoes from the previous ’93-94 season.
The white Sonics jersey has become a classic from that era with team on front and player name on back in matching white heat-pressed on a green background with yellow trim. His No. 11 in green-on-yellow appears front and back. Appropriate size 46 Champion tagging is found on left front tail with
1994-95 Designed and Tailored Exclusively For SEATTLE SUPERSONICS” and “Body Length +2” plus the Sonics team logo adjacent. Schrempf has signed the upper back in black Sharpie. The polyester mesh and nylon shirt comes all-original with game wear.
The mostly white Adidas high-tops come in size “14-14.5” have a built-in cushiony compartment for extra foot support with an open-air three-strap design on the sides for better ventilation. They are properly tagged on the interior by Adidas and are both signed on the outer toes in black marker. Very well-preserved they show excellent game use. Both items come directly from the personal collection of Coby Karl (son of longtime NBA coach George Karl) who played in the NBA from 2007-10. He received all items from his collection either straight from the player or through his father who coached Schrempf in Seattle.
