Offered here is the April 14 1992 game ball from the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-100 win over the Chicago Bulls in which Larry Nance surpassed 14000 career points. A high-flying forward out of Clemson and winner of the 1984 Slam Dunk Contest Nance was known as much for his defense and shot-blocking as his consistent offensive production A 3-time All-Star who averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds in 13 seasons with the Suns and Cavs Nance held the record for most blocked shots by a non-center at the time of his retirement in 1994. His #22 jersey is retired by the Cavaliers.
The Cavs had the official NBA (Stern) basketball specially painted and returned to Nance as a keepsake. Two panels are painted in blue with a head-shot portrait of Nance between two Cavs logos. The career point milestone date and score of the game are also painted in white. Additionally Nance signed the ball and notated 14000 points in 8-9/10 black felt pen.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Larry Nance himself. Nice piece of NBA history from one of Nance's most important career achievements.
