Basketball Hall of Famer Dominque Wilkins finished hisillustrious NBA career with 26668 points. Playing small forward primarily for the Atlanta Hawks “Nique” averaged 24.8 points per game. In total he played for five different NBA teams but 12 of his seasons were spent scoring for the high-flying Hawks. This lot features Wilkins’ autographed and game worn 1993-94 Atlanta Hawks home uniform a season in which he averaged 24.4 points through 49 games for the Hawks before being dealt to the L.A. Clippers. This marked his last campaign with the Hawks where he remains the team’s all-time leadingscorer.
On the front left tail is the proper “Champion” size “42”manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is another “Champion” tag that reads: “1993-1994 DESIGNED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR ATLANTAHAWKS BODY LENGTH +3.” On the left inseam is a tag that reads “100% POLYESTER.” On the left chest is the official embroidered “NBA” logo. Across the chest reads “Hawks” and the player number “21” appears on both the front and on the back. These are all done in red on yellow on black triple tackle twill. Elastic yellow and red trim outline the neck and sleeve areas. Across the back reads his last name “WILKINS” in red on yellow tackle twill sewndirectly onto the white mesh jersey. Wilkins signed the front of the jersey on the “H” in Hawks in black fine-point marker and added “21” and it rates an 8-10 in our opinion.
With the accompanying shorts on the inside of the rear waistline is a “Champion” size “36” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is another “Champion” tag that reads “1993-1994 DESIGNED & TAILORED EXCLUSIVELY FOR ATLANTA HAWKS INSEAM +1 RISE +1”. On the inseam is a tag thatreads “100% POLYESTER”. Near the left hip is the official embroidered “NBA” logo and on the left side of the shorts is the player number “21” in white on yellow on black triple tackle twill. On the right side of the shorts is a Hawks team logo in red on yellow on black triple tackle twill.
