Offered here is a 1992 Larry Bird Team USA “Dream Team I” pre-Olympic game-ready white jersey. Though he was suffering from nagging injuries and was just weeks away from announcing his retirement from the Boston Celtics Bird competed in Barcelona and helped the U.S. Men’s Team win the gold medal by a mind-bending 44-point average margin of victory through eight games. The blemish-free jersey shows red and blue “USA BASKETBALL” silk-screening on the front along with Bird’s uniform number “7” in red outlined in blue. Red white and blue elastic trim appears around the collar and on both sleeves. The front left tail includes Champion manufacturer’s tagging [size 46] as well as “USA Basketball” tagging with “1992 Larry Bird” in red script stitching. His last name appears on the rear of the jersey in silk screened in red across the shoulders with his uniform number “7” appearing below it in red outlined in blue. The Champion red white and blue embroidered logo patch appears on the left shoulder.
