1992 was the best season of Ken Griffey Jr.'s young career. At just 22 years old, The Kid batted .308 with 27 home runs and 103 RBI. He picked up his third consecutive All Star nod and Gold Glove award.

 

Offered is Griffey's Louisville Slugger 'C271' from that stellar season in 1992. The 34.5 inch, 30.3 oz. bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding use. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions. The handle is taped in a criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip, and there is a moderate coat of pine tar as well. Griffey signed the left barrel and inscribed "1992" in sharp silver permanent marker. The bat expert at PSA/DNA, John Taube, gave the bat a GU 9 for the use. The autograph is accompanied by a full LOA from JSA. 

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
