1992 was Eddie Murphy's age 36 season and first of two with the New York Mets, and he remained more than serviceable. The Hall of Famer batted .261 with 16 homers and 93 RBI, very similar to the marks he put up during his 1991 All Star campaign the season prior. 

 

Presented is one of the Louisville Slugger 'M275' bats Murray used during that 1992 campaign. The club has excellent use with a repaired handle crack in the back barrel. Several ball and cleat marks are visible on the right barrel. Five tape rings and a light coat of pine tar have been applied to the handle. John Taube of PSA/DNA gave the bat a near-perfect GU 9.5 for the game use.
