This home white polyester gamer by CCM was worn by Pittsburgh Penguins Paul Coffey during the 1991-92 NHL season a campaign he started in Pittsburgh but finished playing for the Los Angeles Kings. During his time that season in the Steel City Coffey tallied 69 points (11 goals and 58 assists) to help the Penguins establish a record of 39-32-9 to finish in third place in the Patrick Division. Proudly sewn to the left breast of this polyester (size 48) gamer is the alternate Captains A. The jersey consists of moderate-to-good wear including black board burns on the front and multiple stick marks throughout. The NHLs 75th anniversary patch is sewn onto the right front side of the jersey while the Penguins 25th anniversary patch adorns the right sleeve. A very special patch paying tribute to recently deceased Penguins player Bob "Badger" Johnson (1931 to 1991) is sewn onto the left sleeve. Coffey signed the back of the jersey in fine point black marker just to the left of his nameplate ("COFFEY") and his uniform No. 77. Its a tremendous keepsake donned by Coffey for any Pens fan!
Includes a letter of authenticity from Paul Coffey and a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
