1991-92 Winnipeg Jets jersey game worn and signed by defenseman Phil Housley. Housley has signed on the back above nameplate in 7-8/10 black felt tip pen. Phil Housley played from 1982 2003 with the Sabers Jets Blues Flames Devils Capitals Blackhawks and Maple Leafs. While with the Capitals in 1998 Housley made the Stanley Cup Finals but were defeated by the Detroit Red Wings. Housley hold the record for most games played without winning the Stanley Cup. Housley is second all-time in games played by an American-born player. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004 and remains eligible for the Hockey Hall of Fame. Large red white and blue Jets logo sewn on chest along with 75th Anniversary of the NHL and "A" Alternate Captain patch. Large "6" sewn on back along with "HOUSLEY" nameplate. Smaller "6" and "WINNIPEG JETS GOALS FOR KIDS" patch sewn on left sleeve with "6" sewn on right. Maska and size 50 tags sewn in back of collar. CCM and NHL logo patch sewn on back tail. Jersey exhibits very heavy use.
Includes a letter of authenticity from Phil Housley and a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
