Clyde "The Glide" Drexler was a 10-time All-Star 1995 NBA Champion and member of the 1992 Olympic Dream Team. He was selected as one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players in1996 and was inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame in 2004. The 6' 7" shooting guard spent his first 11 1/2 seasons in Portland helping guide the Trailblazers to multiple deep postseason runs. The Blazers finished the 1990-91 regular season with the best record in the Western Conference at 63-19 spurred by Clyde's 21.5 points 6.7 assists and 6.6 rebound averages.
Featured here is Drexler's 1990-91 game-worn home jersey with excellent provenance and a perfect A10 mark from MEARS. The white mesh shirt has the team's classic red and black diagonal stripes on the front with "blazers" across the chest. Drexler's No. "22" appears front and back with an arched "DREXLER" sewn directly on the upper back. Allnumbers and letters are done in red on black tackle twill. On the leftarm stirrup is the official NBA embroidered logo. Proper Champion manufacturer's tagging appears on the left front tail with wash instructionsand size 44. Above is the "Designed & Tailored Exclusivelyfor PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS" exclusivity label. Adjacent are two strip tags with "90" (year)and 4" LB (extra length). The jersey exhibits excellent evidence of game use and is certainly one of finest examples we've ever come across.
Includes LOA from Joe Proski Head Athletic Trainer for the Phoenix Suns (1968-2000). Letter from MEARS with perfect A10 grade.
