1987-88 Quebec Nordiques blue jersey game worn by left wing Alain Cote. Cote played his entire career for the Quebec Nordiques in both the WHA (2 seasons) and NHL (10 seasons). Alain helped the Nordiques make the playoffs in 9 out of 12 years while playing for Quebec. Large Nordiques logo sewn on front center of jersey with "A" Alternate Captain sewn on left Large "19 front chest. "COTE" nameplate sewn on top back. Applied fleur-de-lis surround the bottom of the jersey. Maska tag sewn in back of collar. CCM tag sewn in back tail. Jersey displays extremely heavy game use with team repairs and disintegration of some of the white applied for numbers and fleur-de-lis.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
