1986-87 Minnesota North Stars jersey game worn by rugged right wing Willi Plett. Plett played 13 seasons (1976 1988) with the Atlanta/Calgary Flames Dallas North Stars and Boston Bruins. He won the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1977 as the NHL's top rookie. Known as an enforcer who could score Plett set Flames franchise records for penalty minutes. Large North Stars logo sewn on chest. Large "24" sewn on back with smaller ones on sleeves. "PLETT" nameplate sewn on back. Steichens Sports Equipment and washing instructions tags sewn in back of collar. CCM and "STEICHEN'S" sewn into back tail. Jersey shows moderate game use with team repair.
Includes a letter of provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
