John Havlicek wore this jersey and shorts combination on a 1976 Tour of Japan that featured games between the East and West NBA All-Stars in one of the earlier attempts to extend the global reach of the National Basketball Association. Jersey and shorts boast tagging from Japanese manufacturer Onitsuka with Havlicek's No. 17 imprinted in a smaller tag on the jersey's front and hand printed on a tag on the shorts. The condition of both pieces is superb despite good game use with virtually no fraying on any of the stitching; Havlicek has added his iconic diagonal signature across the "7" on the jersey's back in black Sharpie. Comes essentially as-issued in problem-free condition.
