An unusual and highly collectible regional issue, this 1974 McDonald's San Diego Padres disc presents a young Dave Winfield in his very first season of professional baseball — just his second year after being famously drafted in four professional sports. The circular format features Winfield in his Padres pinstripes, beaming broadly in a dugout portrait, wearing #31. The reverse provides his 1973 statistical line (.277 BA in 56 games) and confirms he still resided in his hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Certified PSA MINT 9, this disc is a gem-quality example of one of the scarcest early Winfield collectibles in the hobby. The surfaces are clean and vibrant, the color reproduction excellent, with sharp edges and only the most minimal signs of handling consistent with a MINT grade.
