Excellent 1969 Topps Baseball complete set consisting of 664 cards and including five graded examples. The '69 Topps set features a nice color photo of the athlete with the team name printed in block letters underneath. A large circle contains the player's name and position on the upper portion of the card. This set is known for its large number of stars, including the rookie cards for Reggie Jackson, Rollie Fingers, and Bobby Bonds as well as Mickey Mantle's last Topps card of his career.
Graded examples included in the offered set are as follows: #100 Hank Arron - SGC Authentic Altered, #190 Willie Mays - SGC EX 5, #260 Reggie Jackson - SGC EX 5, #440 Willie McCovey - SGC EX-MT 6, and #500 Mickey Mantle - SGC VG-EX+ 4.5.
Additional notables included in this set are Bob Clemente, Johnny Bench, Orlando Cepeda, Tom Seaver, Rod Carew, Willie Stargell, and many more.
The set remains in good condition overall with most cards averaging in the VG to EX range. An excellent opportunity to find potential grading candidates or potential to utilize this as a set to upgrade.
