Featured here is magnificent high-grade 1969 Topps Baseball complete set of 664 cards all graded by PSA. With a GPA and Set Rating of 8.929, every card is graded PSA NM-MT 8 or higher. It was recently retired on the PSA Set Registry and would rank #9 on the list of Current Finest '69 Topps basic sets; in terms of All-Time Finest, it ranks 18th.
Top rookies include Reggie Jackson, Rollie Fingers and Bobby Bonds. Mickey Mantle's last ever card issued is another highlight. Measuring 2-1/2" by 3-1/2”, each card features a color photo with the team name printed in block letters underneath. This set has three PSA 10s, 591 PSA 9s,3 PSA 8.5s, and 68 PSA 8s. As of 7/1/2024, there are 48 cards with none graded higher, 75 cards with only one higher, and 75 cards with only 2 higher. It should be noted that the #6 ranked set in the registry sold in April 2024 for $216,000. This basic set in remarkably high-grade condition is an extraordinary addition to any esteemed card collection.
