Featured here is a Milwaukee Brewers flannel uniform including a #65 home white jersey and home white pants worn by a former Brewers scout coach and minor league manager Tommy "T-Bone" Giordano. In 1969 Giordano managed the Clinton Pilots minor league affiliate of the Seattle Pilots before a becoming a scout within the organization from 1970-72. The number and letter stitching attests to the likely scenario that this was initially a Seattle Pilots jersey converted to Milwaukee Brewers when the franchise moved there in 1970.

The jersey is a Wilson size 44 button-down with 'BREWERS' and '65 across the chest in blue outlined in gold. Back has the larger '65' and is nameless. Gold arm band with five blue stripes adorns the end of both short sleeves. 'Giordano' is sewn in blue cursive inside collar and '1969' is sewn outside left shirttail also in blue next to manufacturer's tag. The jersey shows good wear. All buttons are intact and aside from a small hole next to front letters it is essentially as issued with no alterations of any kind. The Wilson size 36 pants have 'Giordano' and '69-P-65-25' sewn in blue on each side of the manufacturer's tag all located inside the back waistline. All buttons are intact and like the shirt the cream white base color is very clean. The pants come largely as issued showing solid wear with a couple small holes in the lower right leg area.

This item is part of the Tom Giordano collection. Giordano started his 66 year career in organized baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics organization in 1948. After toiling in the minors for a few years the 2nd baseman known as "T-Bone" was called up to the big club at the end of the 1953 season. He batted .175 and hit 2 home runs with 5 RBI in 40 at bats. He returned to the minors as a manager in the Braves and Athletics farm systems from 1956-59 before landing a scouting role with the Kansas City A's in 1960. He would later scout for the Cincinnati Reds Cleveland Indians Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers (where he also spent one season as a Pilots minor league manager) Montreal Expos and Baltimore Orioles where he served as Director of Scouting from 1976-1987. Since then he has held similar senior executive roles with the Indians and Texas Rangers. In 2007 Giordano was named East Coast Scout of the Year.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from Tom Giordano.
