The 1966 Topps Baseball set consists of 598 cards. The eye-pleasing card design features bold color photographs of each player with team names on the upper lefthand corner and player names and positions on the bottom portion of the card. Both the team names and players' names feature colorful backgrounds adding to the appeal of the cards.
The offered near-complete set includes 576 out of 598 cards in the complete set and features notables and commons throughout. A majority of the cards remain in the EX-MT+ range with more than a handful of grading opportunities.
Some notable players include Jim 'Catfish' Huner, Red Schoendienst, Ernie Banks, Walter Alston, Harmon Killebrew, Lou Brock, and Orlando Cepeda among many others.
