The 1966 Topps Baseball release is one of the most popular sets among collectors in the hobby. This lot offers a complete set of 598 cards including four grading copies.
The 1966 Topps Baseball set consists of 598 cards. The eye-pleasing card design features bold color photographs of each player with team names on the upper lefthand corner and player names and positions on the bottom portion of the card. Both the team names and players' names feature colorful backgrounds adding to the appeal of the cards.
The graded cards included are as follows -
- #110 Ernie Banks - SGC EX 5
- #567 Dick Howser - BVG NM-MT 8
- #579 Dave Johnson - SGC EX 5
-# 598 Gaylord Perry - SGC EX 5
Other notables included in the '66 Topps set are Willie Mays, Jim 'Catfish' Hunter, Mickey Mantle, Harmon Killebrew, Lou Brock, and Ed Mathews to name a few. Most of the cards range in the VG to EX-MT range. Certainly some candidates for grading opportunities.
