A startling document from one of the most beloved players in the history of the game and certainly of the postwar era is presented here in the form of Mickey Mantle's actual New York Yankees player contract from 1966. The four-page document is in remarkable condition certainly Ex-Mt or better and details the payment of $100000 to Mantle for the 1966 season the fourth year in a row that he would wrangle that princely sum from the ball club. Signed and dated on the 1st of March 1966 the contract bears a standout Mantle ballpoint signature and that of another Hall of Famer as well American League President Joe Cronin. A third signature also appears on the signatures section (page 3) that of Yankees General Manager Ralph Houk. The document is spectacular an incredible opportunity to pick up a treasured artifact connected to one of the giants of baseball.
